- The paycheck years
Like many of our students, our founder spent years in a corporate job, trading his time for a salary while inflation quietly ate into his savings. He could see opportunities in the market, and he let them pass, because he was afraid of losing the little he had.
- The turning point
Things changed when he stopped chasing the next hunch and started studying how professional trading desks actually work: written rules, defined risk on every position, and decisions made before the market opens, not in a panic during it. OptionPundit began in Singapore in 2006, first as research and writing on options. The company was registered in 2009, went full time in 2010, and the classrooms followed: small rooms, real feedback, and a method you can check for yourself instead of taking on faith.
