- The paycheck years
Manoj grew up with little more than passion, hope and a dream. Like many of our students, he spent years in a corporate job, trading his time for a salary while inflation quietly ate into his savings. He could see opportunities in the market, and he let them pass, because he was afraid of losing the little he had.
- The turning point
Things changed when he stopped looking for the next tip and started studying how professional trading desks actually work: written rules, defined risk on every position, and decisions made before the market opens, not in a panic during it. He built his own rule-based, risk-managed systems and put them to work with his own money.

Friends and colleagues began asking him to teach what he had learned. In 2006 he founded OptionPundit in Singapore to do it properly: small rooms, real feedback, and a method you can check for yourself instead of taking on faith.

OptionPundit Academy teaches options trading and long-term investing to working professionals, business owners and retirees in 18+ countries, through live cohorts, on-demand programs, free weekly sessions and one-to-one mentoring.
