What an amazing week!

The Rollercoaster Ride of VinFast Auto Ltd. (VFS)

The stock market is often likened to a wild beast, unpredictable and full of surprises. VinFast's recent IPO on the New York Stock Exchange was a prime example. After its initial crash, the stock made a jaw-dropping 700% rally in just ten days, moving from $11.61 to a staggering $93. While many were caught up in the euphoria, we at OptionPundit took a step back, analyzing the situation especially due to sky high implied volatilities and the short squeeze driven by low float.

Recognizing the signs of a short squeeze, I promptly alerted our advance traders' community. Leveraging the situation, we crafted a unique Iron Condor structure, distinct from the norm. This strategy wasn't without its challenges, but the end result was a significant profit, showcasing the importance of experience and foresight in trading. Here is +US$6932 profit for Sky, a student in our "Trading condors as Business" education program.

Not only that this trade provided great profits, it also offered a unique learning opportunity for the students.

Earnings, Earnings, Earnings! 

'Money Monday' is always a highlight, and this week was no exception. I spotlighted several companies on the brink of announcing their earnings. Salesforce (CRM), Broadcom (AVGO), and Dollar General (DG) were the names that stood out.

Our strategic decision to trade on Salesforce (CRM) using a specialized Condor bore fruit, resulting in a 238% return in a mere 24 hours! The trade was also shared on our public telegram channel.

Our choice to sidestep Dollar General and Broadcom was deliberate, especially noting Broadcom's significant run prior to its earnings announcement. It's a testament to our belief in informed decision-making.

In fact, our 222 strategy for trading corporate earnings would have resulted into significant profits had we trade that on CrowdStrike (CRWD). But for this week I chose to trade only salesforce (CRM).

The Apple of Our Eye

Apple (AAPL), a titan in the tech industry, was another focal point. Following its post-earnings dip, I had highlighted its potential a few weeks back. Our strategy was simple yet effective: buy the dip. By Friday, the results spoke for themselves. A six-figure trade that reaffirmed our belief in strategic patience and timing.
